It started as an obsession
Mycena Skin didn't begin as a business plan — it began as a personal one. We've been dedicated copper peptide users for years, both topically and subcutaneously, for their role in collagen support. And we've long been fascinated by functional mushrooms. Mycena Skin is what happened when we brought the two together and decided to do it properly.
The mushrooms
We partnered with an organic mushroom farm to grow the two mushrooms we've found most impactful for skin: cordyceps and tremella (the snow mushroom). Every extract is lab-tested to confirm its polysaccharide content and purity — so what goes into each bottle is verified, not assumed.
The peptides
On the peptide side, we work directly with a manufacturer to produce copper tripeptides to our own specifications — GHK-Cu and AHK-Cu, the forms with the most research behind them for repair, firmness, and follicle health.
How we make it
We formulate everything ourselves, and we're always improving — refining doses, retesting, tightening the formula. Mycena Skin is made in the USA and formulated in-house, never handed off to a contract manufacturer. That means we control exactly what's in every bottle, at what dose, and to what standard.
